With the performance in the second half against Real Madrid there is a chance against Pana

Academy without Tar and Vakulya

2010. április 03.

Balázs Vakulya is ill so József Csuhay, the Under 17 coach of Videoton Puskás Akadémia, must definitely make changes for the match against Panathinaikos. The suspended Zsolt Tar will be replaced at centre-back by Gergő Gerebics for the match against the club from Greece. With some good performances it will be possible to beat Panathinaikos but to achieve this task the team will have to grow up.

"If a team plays against Real Madrid two things are possible; either you are afraid or the group steps up to the level required to compete with them. In the first half we were afraid" said Csuhay.

"In the first period we weren't successful in doing what we had planned, but in the second one we saw better things from our boys. Unfortunately in the midfield we weren't decisive or hard enough. In general though I'm satisfied with the players who played. Zsolti, the player red-carded, made a mistake and then tried to cover it up by committing a foul. I feel that if he'd been a bit more decisive then the dismissal would have been avoidable".

To add to Csuhay and his team's problems one of their key players, Balázs Vakulya, is suffering from an illness and will not be able to play a part in his team's second match of the tournament. "It's a big problem for us because Balázs plays an important role in our system in terms of how we practised. With his absence we'll probably need to change the system" Csuhay admitted to www.pfla.hu.

Videoton Puskás Akadémia will take on Panathinaikos at 14:30 on Saturday at Felcsút.
