The Pana head coach will not be able to sit on the bench against Real Madrid

One-match suspension for the coach

2010. április 03.

The PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP  competition committee has banned Juan-Ramon Rocha, the Argentine coach of Panathinaikos Under 17s, for sitting on his team's bench for one match after referee Zsolt Szabó was forced to dismiss him during the match against Videton-Puskás Akadémia for unsporting conduct.

Rocha is one of Panathinaikos' best-ever footballers having played for the club for nine years between 1980 and 1989 and earlier having represented Boca Juniors in his native Argentina. He returned to Athens as a coach and helped them to their biggest success; their journey to the 1995-96 Champions League semi-finals. The player who played many times for the club was nicknamed 'Indian' but got into trouble today for encouraging his player to stay on the floor when seeming to be injured in order to waste time and then heatedly complaining to the referee, who dismissed him from the side of the pitch.
