THE REAL MADRID UNDER 17 COACH LUIS MIGUEL RAMIS MONFORT SPEAKS

THE 'REAL' NAME OBLIGES YOU TO PERFORM!

16th April 2011.

Luis Miguel Ramis Monfort, the rock-solid former Real centre-back of the 1990s is currently still working for the 'King's club' as their Under 17 head coach. The 40-year reiterates; Real Madrid cannot afford not to play according to the honour of the club; the aim is PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP victory.

How do you see your chances?
Every team wants to perform well in the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP matches because of the tournament's quality and the strength of the teams. I am sure that none of them are going to give up the fight for even a moment. I hold it as important that every team and all the players feel as well as possible within themselves during the tournament.

Who should we look out for in the Madrid team?
It is the truth that every Real Madrid player must already be able to play football of a high quality if they are to play at Real. I would not say names because I would stress the collective work ethic and desire that the team proves in our league championship. Our boys achieve good results.

Real won the first edition but since then they haven't even contested a final. This year is the aim to win the Cup?
The aim of Real is win every championship and every tournament that it steps onto the pitch to contest. It is true though that in the last two years of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP luck has deserted us and this luck was a necessity for us to be able to win. This time we will fight so that we deserve this luck.

Is it a 'fighting' type of Real team that is coming to Hungary?
Our badge compels us to achieve the best results in every championship and tournament that we travel to play in. In Felcsút and in Székesfehérvár we are therefore going to fight with all our strength!
