The laying of wreaths and the opening dinner
The PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP’s ’Day Zero’

The football only begins tomorrow but Day Zero of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP also had a packed programme. As has become tradition, the participating teams paid a visit to Ferenc Puskás’ tomb at the Szent István Basilica in Budapest where they laid wreathes in his memory. After the moments of remembrance the Hagi Academy, Panathinaikos, Real Madrid, Budapest Honvéd, Ferencváros and Puskás Academy teams participated in the celebratory opening dinner at the Puskás Pancho Sport Pub. On behalf of the Suzuki Hungary corporation, CEO László Urbán and Ferenc Kovács, honorary president representing Videoton FC, welcomed the teams and wished them much success for the tournament.
