Online coverage of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP to appear on three websites

Football broadcast in internet

21st April 2011.

Three websites, www.puskasakademia.hu; www.puskassuzukicup.net, the official website of the tournament and www.nemzetisport.hu, the homepage of Hungary's only daily sports newspaper, will broadcast live the Friday, Saturday and Sunday group games and the 5th/6th place play-off match of the 2011 PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP.

We have always taken care of how the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP matches could be brought to a wider audience. Until now it has been possible to read all the interesting match information in Hungarian and English on the tournament's official website and on www.pfla.hu. As is already known by the public, the Easter Monday final placing matches for the top four teams are broadcast live on the SPORT 2 and SPORTM channels. This year we thought that the interest in the group matches and the 5th/6th place play-off would remain high and therefore we will broadcast these matches live on the internet at www.pfla.hu and www.puskassuzukicup.net while coverage on Nemzeti Sport Online is another confirmation of the tournament's burgeoning reputation.

One can watch the broadcast of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP matches by clicking on the flashing 'Élő közvetités' button on the left side of the Puskás Academy's webpage. We would like to emphasise that the current broadcasts are experimental because our present (temporary) server's capabilities results in a narrow bandwidth. In the future we plan to build up a system which is significantly better and will be able to serve several thousand online viewers at the same time.

Nemzeti Sport has also reported this piece of news and you can read that article here.
