Gajdos believes in goals

They have scored against Real Madrid in the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP - Part III

23rd April 2011.

Zsolt Gajdos from the small town of Nagybégányi is another to have scored against Real Madrid in the group stages of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP. The Spaniards saw where ran from but, like every team, they were beaten. Just like Bálint Halász' shots from distance. Gadji is in every other way a Real Madrid fan; his favourite is Cristiano Ronaldo but he also likes Özil and Di Maria.

Last year Real Madrid won 4-2 against coach Józef Csuhay's team with Gajdos' goal coming after he entered the fray as a substitute. He and teammate Dávid Szabó successfully attacked, bringing the ball forward before Gajdos slotted the ball in. Taking many shots against Real is essential if a team is to beat Real... "You must score more goals than them! Therefore it must be deliberately organised that individuals achieve great feats for a team to go on and prevail, over Real as well!" said Gajdos, who is waiting for special moments from the Puskás Academy's key players. If Márk Barcsay and Dávid Kiprich can hit form and if Bálint Halász can wind up his hammer of a right foot... then Real will shake with fear!
Gajdos, along with his academy colleagues from other age groups than the U17 participants, will be there until the end of the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP group stages to watch the games. It's not just the U17 players who are looking forward to the tournament but their supporters as well. "You can learn an awful lot when watching a game!" the midfielder claimed... and we believe him!
