When, on 14th May in the Puskás Pancho pub in Budapest, current first-team player and former Hungary international Péter Lipcsei drew his club Ferencváros' name out of the hat it meant the the team joined the Puskás Academy in Group A, to be joined two minutes later by the third and final team, Slovan Bratislava.
Fradi coach Tuboly then gave his verdict on his side's chances. "Of the two opponents in our group we have faced the Puskás Academy many times in the Hungarian league championship so we know how strong the teams are. We don't know much about the Slovan Bratislava team but they certainly won't be weak opposition. In the other group the two truly big teams will perform. Naturally we will try everthing to qualify for the final - our aim to be amongst the big teams doesn't change and we want to perform as well as possible in the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP matches!
