The Hungarian FA-appointed referees for the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP are: István Vad II and Zsolt Szabó. They will take charge of all four matches and will be aided in their task of keeping the game clean by assistants Róbert Kispál and Zoltán Szalai.
István Vad II will oversee the match between Panathinaikos and Real Madrid on Saturday 14th June and the 3rd and 4th place play-off a day later, while Zsolt Szabó will referee Saturday’s meeting between Budapest Honvéd and the Puskás Academy and the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP Final match on Sunday 15th June. Each match will have four officials because the referee who is not involved on the pitch will take on the role of the fourth official.
On Sunday between 10:30am and 12:30pm in the Sóstoi stadium in Székesfehérvár there will be a three-team VIP tournament between the Suzuki Rt team, the Puskás Academy management team and a select eleven comprised of journalists in Hungary, which will be refereed by Attila Juhos, Béla Kiss and Dezső Nyekita. The match preceding the PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP Final will be an Under 12s match between Felcsút SE and Esztergom SC which will also be officiated by those in charge of the afore-mentioned three-team tournament.
