Two players with three goals and three players with two goals will have a final chance to add to their tallies

Anyone can still be the 'goal king'

14th June 2009.

The PUSKÁS-SUZUKI CUP's hat-trick men from the first round of matches, Real Madrid's Alvaro Morates Martin and Honvéd's Roland Vólent, were unable to add to their tallies in the final group stage matches but they will look to score again in Sunday's games to determine final tournament positions.

Behind these two in the race for the tournament's top goalscorer award is one representative from Puskás Akadémia Fehérvár, Balázs Vakulya, who has scored all of his team's goals so far and came on a substitute in Felcsút first team's NB II game yesterday evening. Level with Vakulya on two goals for the competition so far is Real's Juan Esnaider Ruiz and Ferencváros' right-winger, Levente Horváth.

All five of these players are in with a chance of claiming the top goalscorer's mantle, but of course if one player scores four in their last match of the tournament, as Ferenc Puskás did in the European Cup Final in 1960, then the scorer's list can easily change...
